Race Date Changed: The date of the 1st ANZ Royal CNVLD Wheelie Grand Prix of 2008 has been changed due to circumstances beyond the CNVLD’s control. The race will now be held at Hun Sen Park at 7am on Sunday 25th May 2008. Come and watch Cambodia’s fastest Athletes with a Disability battle it out for the titles of Fastest Male 100m and Fastest Female 100m. Entry is free for the public.

The Templestowe Falcons and Senior Coach Jim Asimakopolous show their determination!

The CNVLD is proud to announce that the Royal Rattanak Hospital, Cambodia’s leading international standard hospital, will sponsor the provision of an ambulance and medical staff for the upcoming ANZ Royal CNVLD Wheelie Grand Prix on 10th May at Hun Sen Park.

 

Friday 2nd May saw the official handover of the unique ANZ Royal CNVLD Wheelie Grand Prix Tuk – Tuk to the legendary Mr Cha Hok, providing employment for one of Cambodia’s most experienced athletes with a disability.

 

The CNVLD and Templestowe College Melbourne, in cooperation with ANZ Bank and ANZ Royal Bank are proud to announce the new season of the Templestowe Falcons Australian Rules Football team under Senior Coach Jim Asimakopoulos AOM, a pioneer of the Abilities and Disabilities Awareness Programme.

Templestowe College, Melbourne have kicked off their annual fund-raising efforts for the Takeo ISPP Templestowe Falcons standing volleyball team with the 2008 Templestowe Community Challenge in Cambodia.

 

The CNVLD was honoured to attend the Shaffalah Center for Children with Special Needs Third International Forum on Sport and Ability, 20-22 April in Doha, Qatar which stressed the key role of sport in bringing social change for persons with a Disability.
